Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Returns must be approved before shipping the item back. Items sent to us without requesting a return first may not be accepted.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.

Return Shipping Costs

  1. Change of mind / wrong size / preference:
    Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. This amount will be deducted from your refund unless stated otherwise.
  2. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items:
    If we made an error with your order, or the item arrives damaged or defective, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
  3. Original shipping fees:
    Original shipping charges are not refundable, except where we made an error with your order.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 7 days if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Return Denial Conditions

We may refuse returns that:

  1. Arrive worn, washed, stained, or otherwise used
  2. Are missing tags or original packaging
  3. Are sent back without prior return approval
  4. Are shipped after the 30-day return window
  5. Include items that are non-returnable (see below)

Items that do not meet our return criteria may be sent back to you at your expense.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  1. Sale items
  2. Gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the replacement item.

For exchanges due to change of mind (size, color, preference), customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
For defective or incorrect items, we cover the cost of return shipping and will send a replacement or offer a refund.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

To exercise this right, contact us at Hello@alorasilk.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

Unless the item is defective or incorrect, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping under this right.

Items must still be returned unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved:

  1. A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus any applicable return shipping costs.
  2. Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
